The Shepard State Park Marsh Boardwalk project is intended to enhance the amenities at Shepard State Park and to create a unique destination for tourists and residents along the coast.
This project will construct a marsh birding boardwalk with appurtenances for public use. This will include educational panels to teach school groups and eco-tourists about the unique flora and fauna. Planned appurtenances also include a floating kayak launch and marshwalk lighting.
