Visit the park and take a stroll on the new Marsh Boardwalk, the perfect complement to the park’s existing amenities. Shepard State Park is a unique destination for tourists and residents along the Coast.
The boardwalk includes educational panels designed to teach school groups and eco-tourists about the unique flora and fauna.
Planned appurtenances also include a floating kayak launch and marsh walk lighting.
For your convenience, the new welcome center’s store offers pottery, firewood, ice, snacks, and more.
Please be advised that the bridge on Graveline Rd, just west of Shepard State Park is closed. If you are visiting the park, please follow directions from Hwy. 90 in Gautier to Oak St.
